This role is responsible for managing the Company's Records Retention Program, ensuring compliance with legal, regulatory and organization standards while safeguarding information assets and supporting operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities:

Maintain BorgWarner's Global Retention Policy and country-specific schedules according to internal business processes, customer needs, and regulatory retention requirements Develop standards and processes to ensure the Company's records and information are created, captured, stored, retained, destroyed, and archived appropriately Contribute towards risk management and mitigation and ensure compliance with related Records Management practices throughout the company Develop and execute records management training and awareness campaigns in support of Records Management program deliverables and overall best practices Assist global BorgWarner locations with Records Management compliance, best practices and process improvement Manage vendor relationships and contracts Receive, classify, file, audit, track and maintain records and centralized documentation archiving system of controlled documents according to established procedures Respond to internal and external records requests utilizing Company database and established procedures Locate, shelve and retrieve records in on-site warehouse and with external vendors Assess consistency across multiple platforms and documents; manage and communicate change Compile data for the creation of metrics and reports related to document management Utilize technologies and tools as needed to support and improve recordkeeping efforts Coordinate with IT to integrate records management functionality into enterprise systems Work on continuous improvement projects, especially for electronic records Other duties as assigned What We're Looking For:

Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent; Bachelors' degree in Business Administration, Information Management, Library Science or Technical degree preferred 5-7 years of experience establishing and maintaining records management program preferred Analytical mindset, attention to detail, and strong organizational skills Ability to effectively collaborate across multiple departments and levels within the organization Must exercise good judgment and use decision making skills to effectively perform job responsibilities Must seek knowledge and understanding of current practices, business environment, and regulatory requirements Must be a self-starter and able to work with little supervision while maintaining goals/tasks Must be able to multi-task and maintain focus while sometimes working in high pressure situations Advanced knowledge of document retention/information management software and Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, and SharePoint Must be able to lift 25-50 pounds Salary Range: $78,800 - $108,350
