The ideal candidate will possess experience in medical sonography, particularly in vascular and obstetric applications.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform high-quality ultrasound examinations in accordance with established protocols.Evaluate images for technical quality and provide assistance to the interpreting physician.Maintain proficiency with major medical sonography equipment and software.Comply with on-call requirements and department-specific training.Demonstrate professional maturity and integrity in all interactions.Manage multiple projects and duties while working efficiently under deadline pressures.Exercise good judgment in decision-making and independently take initiative when needed.QualificationsGraduation from an AMA-approved school of Radiologic Technology or Medical Sonography.One year of radiologic/imaging experience required.Specific training and experience in Medical Sonography is a must.Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.Ability to read and communicate effectively in English.Registered with the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) or registry eligible.Current Basic Life Support (BCLS) certification.Must maintain all registries and licenses required by state and federal laws.Excellent interpersonal, organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.Demonstrated flexibility and willingness to undertake new responsibilities as assigned.Ability to work under stress and in a dynamic environment.Additional InformationThis position follows a rotating 12x3 shift schedule within a 60-mile radius.
