As a paralegal, you will support multiple attorneys in the insurance defense environment. The skills, abilities and experience of successful candidates include: Minimum three years experience as a paralegal. Gathering medical records and working with experts. Summarizing medical records and creating summary reports. Working knowledge of rules, processes and procedures related to records management, subpoenas, witnesses. Knowledge of State and Federal court rules. Documentation demonstrating exceptional writing and grammar. Initiative and comfortability working independently under minimal supervision. Professional communication with a diverse group of clients, attorneys, and staff via email, phone and in-person. Exceptional organizational skills and ability to prioritize workload and timelines. Flexibility in responding to multiple deadlines and conflicting priorities. Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality in all situations. Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
