Position Overview
As an Associate Engineering Designer, you'll work alongside seasoned professionals on significant transportation and public works projects, applying your technical expertise to shape the future of our communities.
Essential Responsibilities
Design and develop civil engineering plans for transportation infrastructure, public utilities, and drainage systems
Conduct detailed earthwork calculations and quantity assessments using advanced modeling software
Create comprehensive grading and drainage plans that meet municipal standards
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative infrastructure solutions
Participate in technical reviews and quality assurance processes
Support project documentation and regulatory compliance efforts
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (BSCE) with 2+ years experience, or 6+ years equivalent work experience Active Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D Strong background in transportation/highway engineering principles Experience with hydrology, hydraulics, and surveying Valid driver's license with clean driving record Why This Is a Great Opportunity
