Major manufacturing company seeks an EHS Manager for their Louisville, KY area plant. Excellent company who has a great track record for being pro-active towards Safety.Responsibilities:Design and implement safety training programs for employees to ensure a culture of safety awareness and compliance.Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure adherence to local, state, and federal safety regulations.Analyze workplace environments, processes, and equipment to identify potential hazards and recommend effective corrective actions.Develop strategic plans to minimize risks and enhance safety protocols across all operations.Collaborate with various departments to ensure that environmental practices align with legal standards and sustainability goals.Keep abreast of new safety legislation and best practices to continuously improve safety policies.Qualifications:Minimum of 5 years of experience in environmental health and safety management.Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and environmental laws.Excellent communication and leadership skills to effectively manage and inspire the team.Proven ability to develop and implement safety policies and procedures.Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills to assess complex safety issues
