Job Type Full-timeDescriptionLiberty Apartments is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Property Manager to join our team. In this role, you will support the Property Manager in the daily operations of the apartment community, ensuring a smooth and efficient property management experience. You will be responsible for assisting with resident relations, leasing, maintenance coordination, and administrative tasks, all while maintaining a high standard of service and professionalism.RequirementsEducation:High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in business, real estate, or a related field preferred.Experience:Previous experience in property management, leasing, or customer service is highly preferred.Experience with property management software is a plus.Skills:Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.Ability to handle resident inquiries, concerns, and conflicts professionally and efficiently.Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Knowledge:Familiarity with basic property management functions, including leasing, maintenance, and rent collection.Knowledge of applicable local, state, and federal housing laws and regulations is preferred.Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook). Experience with property management software (such as Yardi, AppFolio, or similar) is a plus.Physical Requirements:Ability to walk the property and perform light physical tasks, including inspecting units and overseeing maintenance work.Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and respond to emergency situations when necessary.
