Internship or co-op experience in a manufacturing engineering role, or a related industry, is a plus. Solid understanding of manufacturing processes, systems, and technology, including CNC machining, additive manufacturing, assembly, and quality control. Proficiency in CAD/CAM software for designing and improving manufacturing processes. Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and Six Sigma techniques for process improvement and waste reduction. Ability to develop, evaluate, and improve manufacturing methods, utilizing knowledge of product design, materials, fabrication processes, tooling, and production equipment capabilities. Understanding of engineering standards, health and safety regulations, and environmental impact in the manufacturing industry. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to apply engineering principles to optimize production efficiency and product quality. Excellent organizational and project management skills, capable of managing multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Effective communication and interpersonal skills, for working collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including operations, quality, R&D, and supply chain. Seniority level
