WMS Sales Engineer

to support sales growth by delivering tailored Warehouse Management System (WMS) solutions to current and prospective clients. This role requires a strong understanding of warehouse operations, logistics processes, and WMS technology to effectively consult, present, and support customer-facing solutions throughout the sales cycle.

Key Responsibilities Engage with prospective clients to understand their warehouse operations, supply chain challenges, and business goals. Deliver customized product demonstrations showcasing WMS capabilities aligned with client needs. Collaborate with the sales team to develop and execute solution-driven sales strategies. Provide pre-sales technical support, including documentation, system configuration, and proposal development. Translate complex technical features into business value propositions. Support the onboarding of new clients through initial system design and handoff to implementation teams. Act as a subject matter expert in WMS functionality and best practices. Gather customer feedback and relay insights to product and development teams for future enhancements. Stay updated on industry trends, competitive products, and emerging technologies in logistics and WMS. Requirements

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in engineering, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field. 3+ years of experience in sales engineering, pre-sales, or a technical sales role within the WMS or supply chain technology space. Strong understanding of warehouse processes and supply chain management principles. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot). Preferred Qualifications:

Hands-on experience with major WMS platforms or ERP integrations. Prior experience working in logistics, 3PL, or warehouse operations environments. Key Skills

Strong technical knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems and logistics operations. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills. Ability to deliver compelling product presentations and live system demonstrations. Proven problem-solving and analytical capabilities. Project management experience and the ability to manage multiple opportunities simultaneously. Strong interpersonal skills with a customer-focused approach. Ability to conduct market research and competitive analysis to inform sales strategy.
