Senior Sales Executive
Huntsville, AL - Local Candidates ONLY
$170K - $180K Base, $250K - $300K OTE
World leader in counter unmanned aerial vehicles (c-UAV)/counter drone technologies is seeking an experienced Sales Executive to join our growing North American team.
This role will drive growth across key sectors including defense, homeland security, law enforcement, and critical infrastructure. The ideal candidate will identify, develop, and close new business opportunities while building strong customer and partner relationships
Requirements:
7+ years of successful sales experience in defense
Proven track record selling hardware or RF-based solutions
Strong familiarity with U.S. Army programs; experience with PEO Missiles and Space preferred
Existing relationships with Army Program Offices and prime contractors
Based in the DC metro area or Huntsville, AL
Excellent communication and presentation skills; capable of leading high-level sales discussions
Travel up to 50%
Responsibilities: Meet or exceed sales targets for Counter-UAS products and solutions within the Department of Defense, with emphasis on U.S. Army programs such as tactical deployments, base protection, and vehicle integration
Leverage existing and new relationships across government and industry to drive pipeline growth and account expansion
Manage full sales cycle, including pipeline development, deal closure, and post-sale upsell opportunities (e.g., warranty, renewals)
Collaborate internally across departments to ensure alignment and successful execution of sales strategies
Provide regular reporting on forecasts, pipeline status, and pursuit plans
Maintain deep understanding of customer needs, contracting processes, and compliance requirements
Represent the company at industry conferences and events
