Position: Packer | 3644-1 Location Melrose Park Illinois 60160 Duration 3+ months 3rd shift from 9:45 PM 6:15 AM The Packer is responsible for operating and maintaining packaging equipment to ensure steady production flow. Duties include labelling, tray-off, nano-packaging, palletizing, and inspecting packaged products. This role follows SOPs, GMPs, and safety protocols in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities
Operate various packaging equipment and systems Inspect labelled vials and packaging components for quality and accuracy Maintain clean, organized, and compliant work areas Load/unload materials and transport items (up to 40 lbs.) Complete documentation and records according to SOP/GMP Train or assist team members with shipping and packaging tasks Wear appropriate PPE and adhere to safety policies Perform visual inspections and meet 100% packaging specifications Follow HMI-based systems and automated inspection equipment (AIM) Participate in continuous improvement efforts Perform other duties as assigned Education & Experience
Required Education: High School Diploma or GED Experience Level: Entry-level (01 year experience acceptable) Technical & Soft Skills
Ability to lift to 40 lbs and perform repetitive tasks Comfortable with standing, bending, kneeling, reaching, and manual handling Strong attention to detail (especially for labelling and inspection) Reliable, adaptable, and able to work in a fast-paced environment Physical Demands
Standing: 75%, Sitting: 15%, Stooping: 25%, Kneeling: 10%, Reaching: Daily Frequent lifting, pulling, pushing, and carrying up to 40 lbs. Requires fine motor skills, depth perception, and color vision Note: Ability to operate manual and battery-powered pallet jacks is strongly preferred.
