Job description:
The Packer is responsible for operating and maintaining packaging equipment to ensure steady production flow. Duties include labelling, tray-off, nano-packaging, palletizing, and inspecting packaged products. This role follows SOPs, GMPs, and safety protocols in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities: • Operate various packaging equipment and systems • Inspect labelled vials and packaging components for quality and accuracy • Maintain clean, organized, and compliant work areas • Load/unload materials and transport items (up to 40 lbs) • Complete documentation and records according to SOP/GMP • Train or assist team members with shipping and packaging tasks • Wear appropriate PPE and adhere to safety policies • Perform visual inspections and meet 100% packaging specifications • Follow HMI-based systems and automated inspection equipment (AIM) • Participate in continuous improvement efforts • Perform other duties as assigned
Education & Experience: • Required Education: High School Diploma or GED • Experience Level: Entry-level (0-1 year experience acceptable)
Technical & Soft Skills: • Ability to lift to 40 lbs and perform repetitive tasks • Comfortable with standing, bending, kneeling, reaching, and manual handling • Strong attention to detail (especially for labelling and inspection) • Reliable, adaptable, and able to work in a fast-paced environment
Physical Demands: • Standing: 75%, Sitting: 15%, Stooping: 25%, Kneeling: 10%, Reaching: Daily • Frequent lifting, pulling, pushing, and carrying up to 40 lbs • Requires fine motor skills, depth perception, and colour vision

Ability to operate manual and battery-powered pallet jacks is strongly preferred.
