Shipping Associate
Job Title: Shipping Associate Mon-Fri 8AM-4:30PM
Must have ability to lift 50-75 lbs Job Responsibilities: Prepare and process outgoing shipments of vision therapy equipment and materials Receive and accurately log incoming inventory and supplies Pack orders carefully to ensure safe delivery of delicate optical devices Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment Perform regular inventory counts and reconciliations Assist with order fulfillment and quality control checks Collaborate with the sales and customer service teams to ensure timely shipments Follow all safety protocols and procedures in the warehouse Use shipping software to generate labels, track packages, and manage logistics Troubleshoot and resolve shipping-related issues as they arise Maintain accurate records of shipments, inventory levels, and warehouse activities Assist with loading and unloading delivery vehicles as needed Participate in continuous improvement initiatives for shipping and warehouse processes Skills Required: High school diploma or equivalent 1-2 years of experience in shipping, receiving, or warehouse operations preferred Proficiency in using computer systems and shipping software Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and inventory management Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks Good physical stamina and ability to lift up to 50 pounds Ability to work independently and as part of a team Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and workload Knowledge of shipping carriers (UPS, FedEx, USPS) and their requirements Quality control is KEY Compensation / Pay Rate (Up to): $21.00 - $22.00 Per Hour
