Shipping Associate

Job Title: Shipping Associate Mon- Fri 8AM- 4:30PM Must have ability to lift 50- 75 lbs Job Responsibilities: • Prepare and process outgoing shipments of vision therapy equipment and materials • Receive and accurately log incoming inventory and supplies • Pack orders carefully to ensure safe delivery of delicate optical devices • Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks • Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment • Perform regular inventory counts and reconciliations • Assist with order fulfillment and quality control checks • Collaborate with the sales and customer service teams to ensure timely shipments • Follow all safety protocols and procedures in the warehouse • Use shipping software to generate labels, track packages, and manage logistics • Troubleshoot and resolve shipping-related issues as they arise • Maintain accurate records of shipments, inventory levels, and warehouse activities • Assist with loading and unloading delivery vehicles as needed • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives for shipping and warehouse processes

Skills Required: • High school diploma or equivalent • 1-2 years of experience in shipping, receiving, or warehouse operations preferred • Proficiency in using computer systems and shipping software • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and inventory management • Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks • Good physical stamina and ability to lift up to 50 pounds • Ability to work independently and as part of a team • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and workload • Knowledge of shipping carriers (UPS, FedEx, USPS) and their requirements • Quality control is KEY Compensation / Pay Rate (Up to): $21.00 - $22.00 Per Hour
