Business Process Technology Specialist Job Summary
The Business Process Technology Specialist plays a critical role on the Business Excellence team, supporting all departments by designing, developing, and integrating software solutions that enhance business processes and data flow. This role is ideal for a self-starter with a passion for technology, problem-solving, and cross-functional collaboration. Reporting to the Director of Business Excellence, this individual will be a key driver of digital transformation across the organization. Key Responsibilities Design and develop custom applications, workflows, and integrations to improve business efficiency and data delivery. Serve as a subject matter expert and support resource for ERP and related systems across departments. Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into technical solutions. Manage and execute projects using project management tools and methodologies. Create and maintain documentation, and deliver training to end users on new tools and processes. Continuously explore and implement automation opportunities using modern platforms and tools. Required Skills & Experience Experience as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) or Administrator within an ERP system. Strong understanding of end-to-end business processes (e.g., Order to Cash, Procure to Pay). Project management experience and familiarity with project management software. Experience with workflow and automation tools. Proficiency or strong interest in front-end development and programming concepts. Familiarity with systems integration and data flow between platforms. Excellent communication skills - both written and verbal. Ability to work independently and collaboratively, with a strong sense of ownership and initiative. Patience and clarity in training and supporting end users. Qualifications
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Infor M3 ERP and Infor ION platform. Proficiency with Microsoft Power Platform (PowerAutomate, PowerApps, SharePoint). Experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, Angular for front-end development. Experience with Python and C# for scripting and integrations. Familiarity with SQL Server and database concepts. Background in the manufacturing industry.
