Siemens scanner experience preferred. Level 1 trauma center or large hospital setting experience preferred. Description: The CT Tech will work night shifts, specifically 4x10 hour shifts from 21:00 to 07:30. The daily caseload per tech is manageable and demands efficient work under pressure. All candidates should have a minimum of 2 years of experience in the field. First-timers are accepted for this role. Every other weekend work is required. On-call duties are not required. The clinician must be able to float within the scope to meet facility needs. This role does not require floating to sister facilities. Local candidates are not accepted within a 75-mile radius. Pending state licenses are not accepted. There are no restrictions on time off, but it cannot exceed 7 days within the 13-week contract. The position necessitates experience in a fast-paced environment involving high-complex cases. Candidates should be proficient in PACS and contrasts. Experience with IV starts and portables is preferred. CT procedure experience is required in areas such as abdomen, pelvis, head/neck, chest, spine, and musculoskeletal. CT procedure experience in aspirations, biopsies, brain perfusion, colonography, and myelography is preferred. This facility is a short-term acute care teaching hospital with a total of 1259 staffed beds. The working environment is intense due to the nature of a Level 1 trauma center. Candidates must demonstrate strong patient care skills and adherence to safety protocols. Experience with EPIC or similar charting systems is required. Travelers will be expected to comply with all job and facility requirements.
