Consult Energy is partnering with a fast-growing renewable energy developer to hire an experienced, data-driven FP&A Manager. This role offers a unique opportunity to join a nimble, entrepreneurial team at the forefront of clean infrastructure development. The ideal candidate will bring advanced financial modeling skills, a solid understanding of both corporate and project-level finance, and familiarity with capital markets. You’ll operate at the intersection of strategic planning, capital raising, and financial execution—playing a critical role in driving the company’s next phase of growth. Key Responsibilities
Build and maintain detailed financial models to support budgeting, forecasting, and scenario analysis at both the project and corporate levels. Partner with the CFO and Capital Markets team on deal structuring and investor presentations, including M&A and tax equity transactions. Track financial performance versus budget and forecast; identify key trends and business drivers. Develop KPIs, dashboards, and monthly reporting packages for executive stakeholders and external partners. Support project finance underwriting and evaluate capital stack options, including equity, debt, and tax equity. Conduct ad-hoc analyses to evaluate investment decisions, operational initiatives, and strategic planning efforts. Collaborate cross-functionally with Accounting, Project Development, and Sales Operations to align financial strategy with company goals. Qualifications
5–8 years of experience in FP&A, project finance, corporate finance, or investment analysis; renewables, infrastructure, or real estate sector experience strongly preferred. Advanced Excel modeling skills and experience with financial tools (NetSuite, Tableau, Salesforce, SQL, etc.). Background in structured finance, asset-backed securities, or capital markets a plus. Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, or related field preferred; CFA/CPA/MBA a plus. Strong communication skills and ability to distill complex financial insights for non-financial stakeholders. Deep intellectual curiosity and a proactive problem-solving mindset. Able to operate autonomously and thrive in fast-paced, entrepreneurial environments. Comfortable working closely with C-level executives, investors, and external financial partners. Experience in companies scaling from $100M+ ARR toward institutional-grade operations is a plus.
