Financial Planning and Analysis Specialist
Our client, a global leader in capital markets and investment banking, is seeking a skilled
FP&A Specialist (Consultant)
to join their
Corporate FP&A team . This is an exciting consulting opportunity to contribute to financial planning and analysis initiatives that support both front and back office functions, with a primary focus on
Asset Management . Responsibilities: Own and maintain P&Ls for multiple business units, ensuring accurate monthly close, variance analysis, and GAAP reconciliation. Prepare and deliver recurring financial reports and business performance summaries to senior management. Manage budget vs. actual tracking for business lines and support reforecasting efforts. Conduct in-depth analysis of revenue drivers including management and performance fees. Perform cost allocations and review methodologies for assigning expenses across groups. Partner with Product Control, Corporate Accounting, and Fund Accounting to reconcile results and resolve issues. Support budgeting and forecasting cycles in alignment with corporate financial targets. Develop and enhance dashboards and tools that promote transparency and data-driven decision-making. Perform ad-hoc financial analysis to support business initiatives and strategy. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. 5–10 years of progressive experience in FP&A, with exposure to asset management or capital markets. Strong knowledge of AUM-based revenue, fund-level expense allocations, and performance fee structures. Prior experience supporting executive leadership and managing high-impact financial reporting. Advanced Excel skills; familiarity with financial systems and reporting tools. MBA, CPA, or CFA preferred but not required. Ability to distill complex financial data into clear, actionable insights.
