About the Role The Company is seeking a Vice President for Market Access, Patient Services, Trade, and Distribution. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the development and execution of commercial and government market access strategies, with a focus on improving patient access and affordability. This role involves leading a team of market access and trade relations professionals, serving as the internal point of contact for payer and specialty pharmacy issues, and leading the pricing committee. The Vice President will also be expected to discover opportunities, develop strategies for managed markets customers, and collaborate with various teams to ensure the company's products are effectively positioned in the market.
Applicants for the Vice President position should have a Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 20 years' experience in leading managed markets, patient support services, and trade relations within the pharmaceutical industry. Strong working relationships with MCOs, PBMs, and other customer channels are essential, as is experience in product marketing launch with an emphasis on managed markets, access, and reimbursement. The role requires extensive experience with specialty pharmacies, deep financial savvy, and a preference for candidates with an MBA. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leading cross-functional teams, managing third-party contract organizations, and a background in Urology, Endocrinology, or Primary Care marketplaces.
