We are seeking a Plumbing Design Engineer with 36 years of experience to join our award-winning team. Employment Type: Full-time. Work Schedule: Hybrid 3 days in-office, 2 days remote. Salary Range: $108,160$126,880, based on experience. Responsibilities
Lead medium to large-scale engineering projects from concept through execution Apply advanced design principles, perform complex calculations and modeling, and prepare construction estimates and specifications Manage project budgets, mentor junior engineers, and contribute to business development efforts Plan and execute engineering projects independently Conduct field investigations and data collection Review submittals, produce meeting reports, and lead construction meetings Prepare proposals and attend job walks Collaborate with clients and internal teams to ensure project success Travel to job sites as needed Qualifications
Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering or Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering (preferred) California P.E. or CPD registration (preferred) P.E. registration in other states is a plus Familiarity with HCAI/OSHPD codes, standards, PINS, and CANS (preferred) Experience
36 years of engineering design experience post-graduation or equivalent Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Bluebeam Working knowledge of Revit (preferred) and AutoCAD (a plus) Familiarity with: National Plumbing Code, California Energy Code, HCAI codes, standards, PINS, and CANS, NFPA-99 Benefits
