Mid-Level Tax Controversy Associate Attorney

to join a highly regarded, nationally recognized law firm with a robust tax practice. This position offers the opportunity to work on

complex tax disputes and litigation

involving multinational corporations, high-net-worth individuals, and family offices. Key Responsibilities: Handle sophisticated tax disputes, including

international tax and transfer pricing matters . Represent clients in

federal and state tax audits, administrative appeals, and litigation . Interact with clients, in-house tax and legal teams, opposing and co-counsel, accounting firms, and representatives from taxing authorities. Conduct in-depth legal research and draft persuasive memoranda, motions, and briefs. Collaborate with experienced attorneys in a

highly strategic and team-oriented environment . Qualifications: 3-5 years of relevant experience

in tax litigation or controversy at a law firm, accounting firm, or government agency (IRS Chief Counsel, DOJ Tax, Tax Court, or a relevant clerkship). Strong background in

tax law, tax procedure, and dispute resolution . A degree or coursework in

economics or accounting

is a plus. Excellent

$260,000 - $365,000
