Experienced Paralegal
A high-performance litigation team is seeking a skilled Experienced Paralegal with a background in personal injury law. This role requires precision, speed, and an ability to operate independently within a structured, fast-paced legal environment. You'll be responsible for supporting attorneys from intake through trial, managing deadlines, and ensuring each case moves efficiently and accurately through the litigation pipeline. Key Responsibilities: Draft and file legal documents, including complaints, discovery responses, and motions. Organize and manage large volumes of case files and correspondence. Coordinate and schedule depositions, mediations, and expert interviews. Track court deadlines and ensure full compliance with local and state procedures. Summarize medical records, depositions, and discovery documents. Assist attorneys with trial preparation, including exhibit binders and witness prep. Communicate with clients, medical providers, and third parties. Use case management software (Filevine or similar) to log updates, notes, and deadlines. Maintain internal SOP compliance and proactively identify bottlenecks in case progression. Required Qualifications: 7+ years of paralegal experience in personal injury litigation (plaintiff-side preferred). Strong understanding of California civil procedure and e-filing protocols. Fluency in case management systems (Filevine, Clio, etc.). Familiarity with medical records handling, treatment timelines, and billing documentation. Excellent writing, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to work autonomously and prioritize across multiple active files. Paralegal certificate or relevant legal education preferred. Performance KPIs (First 90 Days): Zero filing errors or missed deadlines. Case notes updated weekly with full timeline visibility. 95%+ completion of Filevine tasks within SLA. Drafts of pleadings completed within 2448 hours of request. At least one SOP improvement recommendation submitted per month. Compensation: Salary Range: $65,000 $85,000/year + Performance-based bonus tied to KPIs, deadlines, and file accuracy
