Senior MEP Manager – Mission Critical / Data Center Construction Location: Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex (Based in Richardson, TX) Reports To: MEP Director Employment Type: Full-Time We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior MEP Manager to oversee the coordination, execution, and delivery of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems on large-scale data center and mission critical construction projects in the Dallas-Fort Worth (DFW) area. This position plays a key role in managing field operations, ensuring quality and performance of all MEP systems, and supporting project delivery from preconstruction through commissioning. Reporting directly to the MEP Director, the Senior MEP Manager will lead coordination efforts across trades, support procurement and vendor management, and help ensure that complex building systems meet stringent operational and reliability standards. Key Responsibilities

Manage all field-level MEP activities across multiple data center / mission critical projects in DFW. Lead MEP coordination efforts during design, preconstruction, construction, and commissioning phases. Collaborate with design consultants, subcontractors, and internal teams to resolve constructability and integration issues. Ensure proper installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical and mechanical systems. Oversee MEP field inspections, QA/QC processes, and system-level walkthroughs. Assist with review and management of submittals, RFIs, and technical documents related to MEP scopes. Coordinate with scheduling teams to integrate MEP activities into the overall project schedule, ensuring timely equipment procurement, delivery, and installation. Participate in and help lead MOP (Method of Procedure) planning and execution for critical system cutovers. Monitor compliance with project specifications, industry codes, and safety regulations. Support the MEP Director in tracking project performance, resource allocation, and field issue resolution. Train and mentor junior MEP staff and help develop standardized practices across projects. Assist in developing and implementing commissioning plans and turnover packages. Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline (or equivalent field experience). 7+ years of construction experience with a strong focus on MEP systems, including 3+ years in mission critical / data center projects. Deep technical understanding of HVAC, electrical distribution, emergency power, UPS, CRAC/CRAH units, and BMS systems. Proven success managing MEP installation and startup on complex commercial or mission critical projects. Strong communication and coordination skills across multiple stakeholders and trades. Proficiency with tools such as Procore, Bluebeam, Navisworks, and MS Project; working knowledge of Revit is a plus. OSHA 30 Certification required. Ability to work full-time on-site in the DFW area and travel between local project sites as needed. Benefits
