Corp Name: Greene Machine & Manufacturing, Inc. 251 South Street | Macon, GA 31206 | (478) 745-6188 | www.collins-mfg.com Job Objective: The objective for the CNC Machinist/Programmer is to accurately create and revise programs using Mastercam that are compliant to CMC customers' specifications and requirements, performing set up and operation requirements between programming assignments (operation only for small runs). Responsibilities
Write and verify CNC programs to create complex compliant parts on 3-5 axis HAAS CNC machining centers. Create and verify necessary documents to aid in setting up machines. Accurately document work on the production work order, and note any changes and/or recommendations that are needed for future runs. Follow Preventive Maintenance procedures, and assist when required. Follow and support CMC safety requirements, such as wearing the Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Ready to work from the start of the shift until the end. Follow all company policies, for example, Quality, Safety, and Employee Manual. Qualifications / Skills
Math Skills: Good math skills to understand complex instructions and ensure items are designed and built correctly. Problem Solving Skills: Ability to understand CMC capabilities and find solutions that meet customer needs. Attention to Detail: Verifying programs to customer specifications and requirements. Mechanical and Technical Skills: Proficiency with CAD/CAM technologies and machine control. Analytical Skills: Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, models, and specifications. Preferred
5+ years of experience as a CNC Mill and Lathe Programmer. Experience with 5-axis programming Experience with live tooling Experience with HAAS-brand mills and lathes Experience with Mastercam (2020 or newer) Ability to lift 25 lbs. and stand for long periods Benefits
