ZetrOZ Systems is a medical device company developing soft tissue healing technologies which use sustained acoustic medicine. We are looking for an exceptionally creative Biomedical Engineer and Scientist to be a member of the product development and clinical research team. In this position you will apply advanced technical concepts to complex problems from concept generation through final phase development and commercial launch with us at ZetrOZ. The Biomedical Engineer and Scientist will provide technical guidance (e.g., mechanical, electrical biomaterials, tissue interaction with devices, experimental model design and execution) and support for new and ongoing product development efforts. You will help us develop and refine test methods for competitive and internal comparative product analyses. Develop and execute bench top, ex vivo and acute and chronic in vivo studies. Prepare technical reports, scientific abstracts and or journal articles and communicates to internal and external audiences (e.g., scientific conferences, technical meetings). Distill essential research findings to summaries in support of new product launches; educate sales and marketing team members on technology. Collaborate internally (team to team) and externally (academic collaborators, clinical research organizations). Presents research findings at national and international conferences. Identify and collaborate with key opinion leaders to advance product development and research programs at ZetrOZ Systems. Responsibilities Planning and experimental execution; oversee and progress multiple high priority projects concurrently (engineering, clinical, writing, manufacturing support etc.) Interface effectively with both highly technical and non-technical partners Reduce time to market and/or protect timeline to product launch by providing strategic test plans to ensure appropriate data is available for regulatory submissions and sales and marketing collateral Create comprehensive test plans, analyses and technical summaries; execute plans and supervise activities and personnel as required Perform competitive product evaluations and report results to liaisons in sales and marketing as appropriate Proficient technical writing skills Adhere to all safety policy procedures

Minimum Qualifications

Masters or PhD in mechanical-electrical-chemical/biomedical engineering Critical thinking, analysis Highly skilled scientist or engineer with understanding of biomedical device industry Proficiency in anatomy and physiology, surgical practices, practical surgical experience a plus Medical terminology and medical device experience highly desirable Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a publication track record Computer: MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Project, Minitab

Nice to Have
