Flexible (US, UK, Europe, UAE) Overview: Were working with a multi-strategy hedge fund looking to bring on a discretionary Portfolio Manager to run an Emerging Markets Rates and/or FX book. This is a key hire for someone with a strong macro view and a history of delivering consistent returns across EM markets. Key Responsibilities: Deploy capital across EM local rates, sovereign credit, and FX (hard/local) Generate and execute discretionary macro strategies based on fundamental and geopolitical insights Actively monitor portfolio risk and adjust exposures as needed Engage closely with trading, risk, and investment committees Maintain a clear, repeatable investment framework What Were Looking For: A
live and portable track record
with consistent risk-adjusted returns (ideally over multiple years) Deep expertise across EM regions (LATAM, CEEMEA, or Asia) Strong understanding of cross-asset macro drivers and correlations Prior experience managing capital at a hedge fund or top-tier institution Preference for those familiar with a
pod/platform structure , but open to traditional setups as well Whats on Offer: Competitive payout and capital allocation Strong infrastructure with robust support across risk, tech, and operations Ability to scale the strategy over time Quiet, senior-level conversation open to both active and passive candidates Seniority level
