Our Client Our client delivers a hard services-led, tailored facility management solution. They self-perform hard services while partnering with best-in-class soft service providers to create customized facility and project management solutions for their clients. Their focus is on empowering teams with high levels of downstream accountability, resulting in agile and efficient service delivery. In addition to core facility and project management capabilities, their platform provides direct access to best-in-class services such as ESG, Security Consulting, Workplace Strategy, and Workplace Experience. About the Role: Area General Manager (AGM) As an Area General Manager, you will provide leadership, management, and development of an agreed portfolio of accounts. You will ensure financial and operational commitments are met and exceeded while continually developing the customer base. The role covers service delivery, P&L oversight, QHSE, regulatory compliance, people and talent management, operations management, and business development. Key Responsibilities Provide leadership, coaching, and guidance across a defined portfolio to ensure contractual commitments are consistently met and exceeded. Identify and execute opportunities for portfolio growth, driving increased revenue, profitability, contract renewals, and the addition of new services and projects. Ensure optimal staffing structures that balance cost efficiency with service excellence and employee satisfaction. Implement account review, audit, and governance regimes to meet regulatory, policy, and contractual requirements. Regularly attend account sites and deputize for the Account Leader when required. Foster strong client relationships through consistent communication, formal reviews, and customer-focused service delivery. Support the sales process through solution development, presentations, consultation meetings, and hosting site visits. Lead transitions on new account mobilizations, ensuring smooth handovers from sales to operations. Collaborate with operational leaders to drive business development, teamwork, and alignment with company values. Maintain effective communication with clients, team members, suppliers, tenants, landlords, and stakeholders. Promote people engagement and DE&I objectives, embedding company culture across accounts. Qualifications & Experience 8+ years relevant experience, including people management and multi-account leadership. Strong skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook). Proven ability to analyze complex business documents and address sensitive issues effectively. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with confidence in presenting to senior stakeholders. Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities. Advanced financial acumen, with experience conducting detailed financial analysis. Flexible to work outside core hours when needed to meet client deadlines. Willingness to travel for meetings, site visits, and industry events. Seniority level
