We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Network and System Administrator to join our Tech Services team. This role requires a highly motivated individual with a knack for problem-solving who will be responsible for maintaining and improving our company's network and system infrastructure. This is a permanent position that offers a fast-paced, innovative environment where you will be at the forefront of cutting-edge technology. Responsibilities
Manage, monitor, and troubleshoot daily network and system operations including but not limited to TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and other networking concepts. Administer and maintain Microsoft Azure Entra, AWS, Windows Server, Active Directory, and Group Policy. Oversee IT hardware such as printers, desktops, laptops, ensuring their optimal performance and resolving any technical issues that arise. Develop and implement network maintenance procedures and performance improvements. Collaborate with the IT team to ensure smooth and reliable operation of software and systems for fulfilling business objectives and processes. Design and implement system security and data assurance. Conduct regular system audits and software upgrades. Contribute to scripting tasks using languages like PowerShell or Bash. Provide technical support and guidance to staff, assisting with all network related issues.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Network and System Administrator, or in a similar role. Solid understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and networking concepts. Proficiency in Microsoft Azure Entra, AWS, Windows Server, Active Directory, and Group Policy. Experience with common IT hardware (printers, desktops, laptops) and troubleshooting techniques. Basic knowledge of scripting languages like PowerShell or Bash will be advantageous. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong understanding of system security and data assurance.
