$65,000-$74,000 annually, plus 5% bonus What youll do as the Staff Accountant
Assist the Controller in the month end close process Generate and post month end closing entries Monthly reconciliation of general ledger accounts in a timely manner, including researching the cause of variances and unusual transactions Assist the Controller in compiling information for external auditors and tax accountants as prepared Assist with the preparation and reconciliation of sales and property tax returns Assist with sales tax and property tax audits Assist with sales tax reporting and revenue invoicing Provide assistance and direction in understanding GAAP requirements and process improvement Special projects and other duties as required What youll bring to the Staff Accountant role Bachelors degree in accounting or degree in business with equivalent accounting experience 2-4 years of experience in accounting 1+ years of experience with sales tax Strong knowledge of GAAP Experience with ERP accounting software preferred Proficiency in MS Office Suite with advanced Excel Skills Seniority level
