Forklift Operator
Automation Personnel Services is looking for a Forklift Operator for a company based in Greer, SC. This is an excellent opportunity to grow your skills in forklift operation and material handling within a dynamic industrial setting. Pay Rate: $18.50 per hour Schedule and Hours: Monday through Friday 7:00am to 3:30 pm Forklift Operator Duties and Responsibilities Operate forklifts safely and efficiently, following company policies and procedures. Load and unload materials from trucks, racks, and other storage areas, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage. Transport materials to designated locations within the facility, maintaining inventory accuracy and organization. Perform regular inspections and basic maintenance on forklifts; promptly report any issues or malfunctions. Adhere to all safety guidelines, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and secure loading practices. Forklift Operator Qualifications and Requirements Valid forklift operator certification or license obtained through a recognized training program. Proficiency with RF scan guns, barcode scanners, or similar inventory management tools is essential. Ability to understand and follow safety protocols and operating instructions to prevent accidents and injuries. Physical strength and stamina to lift and move heavy loads safely and efficiently. Knowledge of safety procedures for forklift operation and general warehouse safety. Job Type: Full-time, temporary to hire.
