Forklift Operator
Automation Personnel Services is looking for a hard-working Forklift Operator for a t-shirt company based on Clements Ferry in Charleston, SC. In this role, you will operate both powered and non-powered equipment to efficiently move materials throughout the warehouse. Pay Rate: $18.75 to $19.75 per hour Schedule and Hours: First shift: 6:00 am until 2:00 pm, 6:30 am until 2:30 pm Second shift: 2:30 pm until 10:30 pm Third shift: 10:30 pm until 6:30 am Duties and Responsibilities
Operate various types of equipment, such as forklifts, walkies, reaches, pacers, crowns, clamps, high-reach trucks, and pallet jacks. Perform pallet picks, case picks, pallet building, and load cases onto and off of conveyors. Handle cases weighing over 50 lbs. consistently throughout the shift Ensure materials are moved and stored accurately according to operational guidelines Maintain a clean and safe work environment Qualifications and Requirements
Ability to stand, lift, bend, and perform physical tasks for extended periods Comfortable lifting 50 lbs. regularly Ability to follow instructions and work both independently and as part of a team Prior experience operating forklifts, walkies, reaches, pacers, crowns, clamps, high-reach trucks, and pallet jacks Must be reliable and punctual Job Type: Full time, temporary Benefits: Weekly Pay Medical, dental, vision, short-term disability, and life insurance 40 hours Service Bonus after 1 year of continuous service and 1500 hours 6 paid Holidays after 1500 continuous hours of service About Automation Personnel Services Automation Personnel Services is a highly recognized staffing agency with over 30 years of experience in manufacturing and light-industrial staffing.
