Day Shift - 7.5 Hours (United States of America) Medical Assistant for Article 28 located at 800 Castleton, 355 Bard Ave and or any future locations. Prepares examination rooms, ensuring proper supplies/equipment is available. Notifies manager of defective or malfunctioning equipment. Calls patients into examining room, prepares patients for examinations. Obtains and records height, weight, blood pressure, temperature, pulse, respiration and pain scores. Verbally notifies provider of abnormal results, performs phlebotomy. Performs EKG, vision and hearing screening, and collects specimens. Completes assigned tasks as needed as directed by provider or nurse. Requirements: High School Diploma required. Medical Assistant Certification required. BLS certification required. Medical office experience preferred. Medical Assistant for Article 28 located at 800 Castleton, 355 Bard Ave and or any future locations. May be required to work any shift between 8:30AM - 8PM Monday through Friday as well as Saturdays 8:30AM - 4:30PM.
