Building Engineer
to support a healthcare clinic environment by maintaining and troubleshooting building systems. The role involves independent daily work across HVAC, plumbing, and electrical functions, ensuring compliance with safety standards while supporting patient care facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform troubleshooting and maintenance for
HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems . Assemble and repair office furniture; escort vendors during on-site work. Conduct daily
preventive maintenance (PM)
and corrective maintenance (CM) rounds. Manage and follow up on work orders using CMMS systems. Comply with safety standards for
hazardous materials storage and disposal . Monitor and repair
fire, life safety, and building control systems . Support energy management initiatives to ensure efficient building operations. Assist in implementing preventive maintenance programs for long-term system performance. Lead by example, modeling
safety and compliance values
in a healthcare environment. Apply advanced building engineering knowledge to solve complex issues. Required Experience:
35 years of experience in
building systems maintenance High School Diploma or GED; trade school diploma preferred Strong background in
basic HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems Prior experience in a healthcare facility preferred Nice-to-Have Experience:
Experience in commercial property environments Prior shift management or supervisory experience Universal CFC certification or other relevant licenses Required Skills:
HVAC Troubleshooting & Maintenance Plumbing & Electrical Repairs Preventive & Corrective Maintenance Preferred Skills:
