$39 - $43/hr Job Summary: The

Data Center Technician

will perform preventative maintenance and corrective repairs in a mission-critical

data center operation . Responsibilities include oversight of

electrical and mechanical systems , ensuring compliance with safety standards, regulations, and operational requirements. This role supports continuity of operations across retail spaces, video studios, and critical data center environments.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct daily site inspections of all Mechanical & Engineering (M&E) systems and technical equipment. Perform preventative maintenance and corrective repairs on systems, including UPS, generators, chillers, electrical distribution, HVAC, BMS, and CMMS work orders. Ensure compliance with Environment, Health, and Safety policies, PPE requirements, and regulatory standards. Oversee and coordinate third-party vendors, ensuring adherence to processes, procedures, and legal requirements. Assist in creating Job Hazard Analyses, risk assessments, and SOPs for critical work. Maintain accurate documentation, CERM logs, and records. Complete required training to support successful job performance. Respond to work orders, emergency calls, and standby/callout activities. Required Experience:

5+ years of commercial maintenance experience. 2-4 years in mechanical or electrical fields (HVAC, plumbing, electrical). High School Diploma or GED. Nice-to-Have Experience:

HVAC and mechanical system expertise is highly preferred. Experience in a financial setting with billing, payables, or financial systems. Prior exposure to critical facility operations or independent work environments. Required Skills:

Strong background in HVAC or Electrical systems. Proficiency in preventative maintenance and emergency response protocols. Ability to lift/carry 50 lbs.+ and perform physically demanding tasks. Preferred Skills:

Vendor management and coordination. Familiarity with Building Management Systems and CMMS platforms. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Additional Skills:

Microsoft Office and computer literacy. Ability to follow compliance and quality assurance standards. Experience writing reports, correspondence, and presenting to teams. Benefits:
