The Salesforce Administrator/Developer provides support for end-users, executes changes in the application, recommends and applies approved changes to policies and procedures, and develops custom solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and API integrations. Daily responsibilities include user management, permission management (profiles, roles, permission sets), Territory Management, system troubleshooting, creating reports and dashboards, managing support cases with Salesforce, mass data manipulation using data import/upload tools, and enhancing platform capabilities to align with business needs. The Administrator/Developer also architects, designs, and implements solutions based on stakeholder requirements. Essential Functions, Duties, And Responsibilities
Participate in development of system vision Define platform security to ensure regulatory compliance Troubleshoot and resolve system issues. Log and track issues through resolution Develop and deliver training for end-users Manage backup of system data and metadata Implement and maintain 3rd-party apps Create and destroy Sandboxes as needed System Architecture And Design
Create and configure standard and custom objects and fields Implement and manage standard and custom functionality such as Platform Encryption and Territory Management Use automation tools including Approvals and Lightning Flow Design and implement solutions with minimal errors and guidance Use change sets / migration tools to move functionality between environments Participate in architecting database schema Evaluate and interpret complex requirements to inform solution design Development Skills
Design and implement custom Apex classes, triggers, and test coverage Review existing code and provide feedback on functionality Build and maintain Flows Build and maintain Lightning Web Components (LWC) and Visualforce pages Develop integrations with external systems via REST/SOAP APIs Participate in code reviews and version control with Git and Salesforce DX Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into scalable solutions Build and maintain Reports and Dashboards SDLC and STLC
Gather and interpret Business Requirements for architectural decisions Document business and functional requirements in compliance with SDLC Participate in SDLC documents including Business Requirements and Change Requests Draft Deployment Plan and Technical Design Documents Test and document results according to validation requirements Test SFDC seasonal releases and updates Admin Skills
Create and maintain Users, permissions (profiles, roles, permission sets) Produce training artifacts for end users Manage page layouts, objects, workflows, reports, and dashboards Maintain Territory Model Support system adoption and continuous improvements Troubleshoot user and system issues Manage sandbox testing environments Mass data manipulation using Data Import Wizard and Data Loader Qualifications
Educational and Experience Requirements
Minimum three years Salesforce Admin and Developer experience in an Enterprise environment supporting 100+ users Salesforce Admin certification Salesforce Platform Developer certification Bachelors degree or equivalent experience Healthcare industry experience preferred Technical Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Ability to manage a complex SFDC enterprise platform with minimal support Design and implement solutions with minimal direction Apply best practices to solution design Experience with Visual Studio Code or similar IDE Interpersonal Skills
Customer-centric and service-oriented Adaptable and responsive in dynamic environments Strong verbal and written communication Collaborates with cross-functional teams and diverse technical backgrounds Applies business analysis to translate stakeholder needs into solutions General
