Job Title: Microsoft SQL Developer (SSIS Specialist) Location: Union, NJ (Hybrid) Get To Know Us: We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Microsoft SQL Developer with deep experience in SQL scripting, database architecture, and ETL processes using SSIS. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both MS SQL Server and Sybase, and will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust data solutions that support business-critical operations. What You Will Get To Do: Database Development & Maintenance Design, build, and optimize stored procedures, triggers, and functions in MS SQL and Sybase environments Set up and maintain MS SQL linked servers and develop scripts that leverage cross-server data access Perform advanced SQL scripting for data manipulation, transformation, and reporting ETL & SSIS Package Management Develop, modify, and troubleshoot SSIS packages for complex ETL workflows Review and enhance package logic, configuration, and performance Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure data pipelines meet business requirements Automation & Scheduling Configure and manage MS SQL Agent Jobs for scheduled tasks and data operations Set up and maintain Windows Task Scheduler jobs for auxiliary automation Write and maintain Windows batch scripts for file handling and process orchestration System Integration & Connectivity Configure ODBC data sources at the OS level to support external data connectivity Ensure seamless integration between internal databases and third-party systems Troubleshooting & Optimization Analyze code and system behavior to identify and resolve errors or unexpected outcomes Monitor performance and implement tuning strategies for queries and processes What You Will Bring: 5+ years of experience in MS SQL Server and Sybase database development Strong proficiency in T-SQL, stored procedures, triggers, and functions Hands-on experience with SSIS package development and maintenance Familiarity with linked server configurations and cross-server scripting Experience with SQL Agent Jobs and Windows Task Scheduler Basic knowledge of Windows batch scripting and ODBC setup Proven ability to analyze and debug complex codebases Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
