Springfield Utility Board is recruiting for a Database Administrator. Division: Management Information Services. Reports to: Director of Management Information Services. Status/Hours: Exempt / Non-Union / Full Time / M - F / 8:00 5:00. Salary: $9,673.74/month - $11,386.26/month (position will start at $9,673.74/month). Posting Date: Friday, August 29, 2025. Closing Date: Friday, September 19, 2025 at 5:00 p.m. Work Location: This position is on-site at our 250 A Street Springfield, OR 97477 location. Minimum Qualifications: Experience: Minimum three years of experience in SQL Server database administration and programming using current Microsoft technologies, including SQL Server, Azure, SSIS, Windows Server, SQL Server Management Studio, SQL Server Integration Services, Reporting Services, PowerShell scripting, and the Office 365 suite of applications, particularly expertise with Access, Excel, and Visual Basic for Applications (VBA). Minimum three years of experience with information analysis, data modeling, and normalization techniques. Minimum three years of experience with Transact-SQL (T-SQL) authoring, execution plan analysis, and query performance troubleshooting. Education: High school diploma or equivalent. Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field, plus four years of on-the-job experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities as outlined in this job description.
