The Manager, Master Data Management - North America is central to Aebi Schmidt's SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud transformation in North America. This role will shape and implement data strategy, governance, quality, and oversee data migration, ensuring a seamless transition to the new platform and managing ongoing data operations.

Key Responsibilities

Data Strategy

Collaborate with the Group Head - Master Data Management to evolve and develop the master data management (MDM) strategy across internal and external data sources and applications. Establish a common MDM domain in the region, including but not limited to customer, supplier, materials, product, production, reference data, location, asset, and employees. Responsible for MDM activities in the region related to all business applications including SAP S4/HANA Public Cloud Data Governance

Establish standard operating procedures and documentation, review and update all work procedures pertaining to all aspects of Master Data for the region. Establish recommendations for an MDM organization that is aligned with the Group MDM strategy. Collaborate with Business and IT teams to synchronize data requirements. Support and advise departments in all aspects of master data management over the entire data life cycle, main contact person in the region for topics around data management. Build a trusted and authoritative view of the data to support data-driven decisions. Cover the requirements of master data and the relationship with upstream/ downstream applications within SAP and operational applications. Gather information requirements and work with the business to define standards and rules to ensure master data is compliant with defined information, policies, and quality requirements. Ensure the project meets data security and regulatory compliance standards. Determine the appropriate KPI's to measure master data performance. Data Quality

Enforce the adoption of master data management standards. Responsible for monitoring data quality in close cooperation with business managers Establish standards and systems for continuous monitoring of data quality and initiation of the resulting improvement measures covering the complete data lifecycle (creation, update, and archive/deletion processes) by following the standards and quality requirements. Development of optimization and automation proposals for data maintenance based on the analysis of processes and information flows. Develop ongoing data cleansing plans based on data gaps; monitor progress to plan and initiate corrective action as required. Ensure that Master Data is maintained efficiently and accurately in all systems. Data Migration

Develop a comprehensive data migration plan, specifying timelines, resources, and milestones. Define rules for transforming source data into the target format within the SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud system. Execute data cleansing processes to remove or correct inaccurate records from the database before migration. Oversee the data migration process, ensuring data integrity and adherence to timelines. Proactively manage migration risks and implement contingency plans, as necessary. Conduct post-migration audits to validate data accuracy and system performance. Act as Subject Matter expert in use of the ETL data migration tool and support the team in its use Leadership

People development and leadership of regional master data management team and activities. Matrix leadership as cross-functional responsibility in different workgroups might occur. Education and Experience

Bachelor's degree in information systems, Business, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in SAP Master Data Management and Data Migration. Technical Requirements

SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud experience is highly desirable. Experience with SAP data migration tools. SAP DataSphere experience is highly desirable. Problem solving ability, Flexibility and Initiative

Ability to adapt in a fast-paced, project-based environment. Ability to travel average 25%, with peak periods of 75% needed
