Were hiring an experienced Technology Counsel to join a leading diversified technology company known for its innovation across vertical software and tech-enabled products. This role offers a unique opportunity to provide expert legal guidance on cutting-edge technology matters and collaborate closely with engineering, product, and IT teams shaping the future of the companys tech portfolio. The company is a dynamic, market leader committed to disciplined innovation and driving long-term value through technology-enabled growth. What Youll Do Provide expert legal advice on software licensing, data privacy, cybersecurity, intellectual property, AI, patent and trademark law, and emerging technologies Draft, review, and negotiate complex tech agreements including software licenses, third-party development contracts, APIs, cloud services, and partnerships Monitor and analyze legal and regulatory changes impacting technology and privacy; advise on risks and opportunities for the business Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, product development, and IT teams to ensure compliance and support technology initiatives Develop and implement policies addressing technology, IP, and privacy legal issues to ensure company-wide compliance Conduct training sessions for employees on legal topics related to technology and data privacy Manage outside counsel on specialized technology legal matters Provide strategic guidance on intellectual property protection and enforcement
What Were Looking For
Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school with superior academic performance Member in good standing of at least one state bar Minimum 6 years practicing technology law in a corporate or large law firm environment Proven expertise in software licensing, data privacy, cybersecurity, and intellectual property law Strong negotiation skills with experience drafting complex technology agreements In-depth knowledge of technology and data privacy legal and regulatory frameworks Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
