The Rokt engineering team builds best-in-class ecommerce technology that provides personalized and relevant experiences for customers globally and empowers marketers with sophisticated, AI-driven tooling to understand consumers better. Our bespoke platform handles millions of transactions per day. It considers billions of data points which give engineers the opportunity to build technology at scale, collaborate across teams and gain exposure to a wide range of technology. Target total compensation ranges from $300,000 - $325,000, including a fixed annual salary of $200,000 - $225,000, an employee equity plan grant, and world-class benefits. Equity grants are issued in good faith and are subject to company policies, board approval, and individual eligibility. As our Build & Release Engineer, you'll own the end-to-end CI/CD lifecycle: troubleshooting and supporting pipeline issues, building and maintaining Buildkite agents and custom plugins, operating Argo Rollouts canary deployments, developing Terraform modules and state management, and managing our Nexus package repositories. Your work ensures that application teams can deploy rapidly, reliably, and securely. About the role: Architect and own our end-to-end build and release pipelines, from source commit through production rollout, ensuring lightning-fast feedback loops and zero-touch deployments Design, build, and optimize container build pipelines (ECR/Docker) and Helm charts, empowering teams to package and ship microservices at scale Champion infrastructure as codeauthor and evolve Terraform modules and CI-driven state workflows that make provisioning repeatable and resilient Lead the adoption and tuning of progressive delivery patterns (Argo Rollouts, canaries, blue/green) so every release is safer and more predictable Manage and enhance our artifact ecosystem (Nexus, custom plugins), keeping libraries current, secure, and performant for every build
