Our client in Aurora, CO is looking for a Cost Accountant. The position details are as follows.
Responsibilities:
Review monthly financial performance including variances and identifying corrective actions with Controller Prepare financial report providing updated forecast of current sales and profits Ensure compliance of financial records with GAAP accounting standards Leverage operational excellence skills to drive efficiency and increased effectiveness across business processes Direct all cost accounting, including standards and transfer pricing issues Act upon changes in business operations, markets served and products to ensure management has necessary data Direct all activity related to cash management, including receivables and payables Support long-term strategic planning and operational planning and budgeting Coordinate and support audit activity and resources, both internal and external Monitor preparation of required tax and regulatory reporting Provide planning and coordination support for acquisitions and strategic alliances Requirements: 5+ years Accounting, 2+ years of Cost Accounting Bachelor’s Degree in Finance related field Manufacturing is a plus
