Well-established national commercial real estate company is seeking an experienced
Regional Property Manager
to oversee operations of a multi-state portfolio of retail shopping centers, including direct management of onsite property managers. Candidate must be a self-starter and is preferred to have at least ten years experience in commercial property management, including a focus on retail shopping centers with a strong knowledge of all aspects of managing commercial properties, including tenant relations, operating budgets, monthly reporting, maintenance & vendor oversight, tenant improvement and construction for capital projects. Position will be based in Lamars suburban New Jersey office with the potential for a hybrid work arrangement. Travel to properties is required. Compensation will be competitive, including base salary range of $120,000-$160,000 per year, benefits, and an opportunity for bonus. Responsibilities Oversee daily operations and financial performance of a portfolio of commercial properties Supervise and support on-site property managers and third-party vendors Oversee, Develop, and manage property budgets, forecasts, and capital plans Ensure timely reporting, including variance reports and operational updates Conduct regular property inspections Oversee property maintenance and capital projects Ensure lease compliance and manage tenant relations Work closely with asset management and accounting teams to meet investment goals Assist with due diligence and onboarding for new acquisitions Identify opportunities for revenue growth and expense optimization Training of on-site Property Managers
Qualifications
10+ years of experience in commercial property management, with multi-site oversight Strong knowledge of lease administration, tenant relations, operating budgets, recoveries and recharges, reporting, financial and otherwise, maintenance, contracts, contractor management, tenant improvements, and capital projects is required Proven leadership and team management skills Familiarity with real estate accounting software and systems Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities Ability to travel regularly and a Valid drivers license.
