This OPS position will be an in-office position in the Ft. Myers office and will provide support to the Program Operations Administrator in the Economic Self-Sufficiency program. Teleworking is not an option. Facility is a tobacco free environment. Some travel may be required. Rate of pay for this OPS position is $16.71 per hour. Examples of work performed include: organized professional individual with a background in clerical and administrative support duties; operating a personal computer and other office equipment utilizing various computer software programs in the preparation of administrative reports, documents, and correspondence; research, gather data and prepare written reports and independently initiate special projects; need to be able to multi-task; assists the Program Administrator and Operations Management Consultants I and other administrative support staff; prepares correspondence, reports, memorandums, staff meeting minutes, and other material on general and technical subjects; prepares, types and submits travel vouchers for ACCESS Program staff; perform general copying, mail distribution duties daily; maintains required contact lists; copy and distribute correspondence and other materials to units and other personnel; plans workflow and time utilization to maintain high level of productivity and to complete work on schedule; maintains all files and records of office correspondence, documents, reports, and other materials; assists with Random Moment Sampling, tracking correspondences, maintaining logs, creating charts and graphs; handles Client Relations updates and tracking for completion. Knowledge, skills and abilities include: knowledge of the principles and techniques of effective communication, verbally and in writing; knowledge of office procedures and practices; knowledge of standard business formats and styles for letters and business forms; knowledge of the methods of data collection; knowledge of basic arithmetic; knowledge of Microsoft Office Word, Excel, and Power Point; ability to deal with the public in a tactful, courteous and effective manner; ability to organize, maintain, compile, analyze, review data for accuracy and completeness for management and administrative decisions; ability to organize and maintain filing systems; ability to plan, organize and coordinate work assignments; ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others; ability to use correct spelling, punctuation and grammar; ability to operate general office equipment; ability to handle telephone calls in a courteous and effective manner; ability to accurately prepare and maintain records and reports; ability to work with a diverse range of people; ability to deal calmly and effectively in high stress situations; ability to compose documents involving technical information; ability to interpret and apply regulation materials; ability to prioritize and meet deadlines; ability to establish and maintain effective communication; ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing; ability to apply ethical business practices. Minimum requirements include: three years of secretarial, clerical, or administrative support work experience; ability to lift 25 lbs. or more; telephone etiquette; must have a valid driver's license; knowledge of Microsoft Office Word, Excel, and Power Point, and familiar with Adobe and document scanning.
