The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in distributed systems, container orchestration, and backend API development, with a strong foundation in software architecture and technical leadership.
Rate Range:
$56.03 to $63.03/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Senior Software Architect job responsibilities include:
Lead the design and development of scalable, distributed systems using Domain Driven Design and Service-Oriented Architecture principles. Architect and implement backend API services using Python (preferred) or JavaScript, with a focus on performance and reliability. Oversee containerized deployments using Docker and Kubernetes, and manage infrastructure as code with Terraform. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure platform alignment with enterprise standards and business goals. Drive observability, automation, and system integrity across platform engineering initiatives. Desired Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. 12+ years of experience in software architecture and development, with leadership in platform engineering. Proficiency in asynchronous programming, threading models, and data structures. Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and authentication protocols like OAuth 2.0. Pay Details:
$56.03 to $63.03 per hour
