About the Role As a Regional Property Manager at Z Modular, a division of Zekelman Industries, you will play a key role in overseeing the performance, operations, and resident experience across a portfolio of multifamily communities. This position requires strong leadership, financial acumen, and deep knowledge of property management, and offers the opportunity to directly impact occupancy, asset value, and team performance across the region.

You will collaborate with on-site teams, property managers, vendors, and leadership to ensure operational excellence, maximize NOI, and uphold compliance standards. This is a full-time, onsite role based in the

Greater Austin area , with regular travel across the regional portfolio.

This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, leads by example, and takes a proactive approach to performance, people, and process improvement.

What You'll Do

Portfolio Operations

- Oversees daily operations of multiple properties, ensuring consistency in service delivery, compliance, and brand standards.

Team Leadership

- Hires, develops, and supports Property Managers and on-site teams; promotes a collaborative, performance-driven culture.

Financial Oversight

- Manages operating and capital budgets, monitors expenses and revenue, and implements corrective actions to meet financial goals.

Leasing & Occupancy

- Drives marketing and leasing strategies to maintain high occupancy and competitive positioning in the market.

Capital Projects & Maintenance

- Coordinates capital improvements, preventative maintenance programs, and ensures physical assets meet safety and curb appeal standards.

Resident Experience

- Resolves escalated concerns and fosters a customer service-focused environment across all communities.

Compliance & Reporting

- Ensures adherence to Fair Housing laws, local landlord-tenant regulations, and company policies. Prepares regular performance and financial reporting for leadership.

Who You Are 5+ years of experience in property management, with at least 1 year in a multi-site or regional role Bachelor's degree in Business, Real Estate, or a related field (preferred) Active Texas Real Estate License or ability to obtain within 6 months Strong leadership, coaching, and conflict-resolution skills Excellent communication, budgeting, and organizational abilities Eligible to work in the United States What You Know

Proficient in property management software (e.g., Yardi, RealPage) Deep knowledge of Fair Housing, Texas landlord-tenant laws, and regional compliance requirements Skilled in financial reporting, budget management, and expense control Understanding of leasing, marketing, and resident engagement best practices Ability to lead high-performing teams across multiple locations What You'll Get Zekelman Industries offers competitive compensation and excellent benefits, including low-cost, high-quality medical and dental benefits.
