Just look up. Are you ready to go beyond? As an Entry-Level Heat Treating Technician, you will support the team in performing basic heat treat processes on jet engine parts and other components. This role involves following clear instructions and procedures under supervision while learning to operate manual and computer-controlled furnaces. Training will be provided, and you will gain hands-on experience to develop your skills in heat treatment processes such as stress relieving, hardening, and annealing. This is a 3rd Shift Position: Monday - Thursday 10 pm - 8:30 am. Key Responsibilities:

Assist in performing basic heat treatment processes like stress relieving, hardening, and annealing based on written instructions. Help set up and operate electric, vacuum, and gas furnaces under supervision. Load parts onto fixtures and into furnaces following established guidelines. Use basic computer controls to adjust temperature settings and time cycles under the guidance of senior technicians. Monitor and assist in maintaining the correct temperature and cooling rates during heat treat cycles. Assist in setting thermocouples and ensuring accurate temperature readings. Help inspect parts for hardness and report results to the supervisor. Follow proper safety and handling procedures when unloading parts from furnaces. Keep work area clean and organized. Work with the team to ensure production deadlines are met. Participate in training to develop heat treating skills and knowledge. Be flexible with shifts and overtime to support department goals and maintain workflow. Qualifications You Must Have:

HS Diploma or GED U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract. Prior experience reading and following work instructions Qualifications We Value:
