We are currently seeking a motivated, career-oriented, and customer-focused Desktop Support Technician to join our team in Washington, DC. This is an exciting opportunity to begin a challenging career. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, diagnosing, repairing, maintaining, and upgrading PC hardware and software to ensure optimal workstation performance. This role also involves timely and accurate troubleshooting of issues (in person, via phone, or email), and providing end-user support as needed. Availability to work non-standard hours is required. Key responsibilities include: Build and maintain workstations and laptops running Microsoft Windows 10. Install and support a variety of applications, including: Adobe Acrobat Reader & Professional Beyond Compare IBM DB2, Data Studio, Rational Application Developer (RAD), ClearCase/ClearQuest JAVA Microsoft Office (2010/2013/2016), Project, Visio Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) 2012 Remedy Trouble Ticketing System Snagit Symantec Endpoint Encryption (SEE) Tivoli BigFix Troubleshoot desktop-related issues using independent research and vendor support.
