Hospitals, hotels, schools, bridges, airports and more.Come build a career you believe in.RESPONSIBILITIES Operational Support: Assist with the day-to-day operations of the property, ensuring office workflows are efficient and resident needs are addressed promptly.Resident Communication: Respond to resident inquiries, concerns, and complaints with professionalism and urgency, supporting a positive living experience.Rent Collection & Delinquency: Process rent payments, issue late notices, and support the enforcement of collection policies in alignment with company procedures.Leasing & Renewals: Support leasing and renewal processes by preparing documentation, coordinating tours and inspections, and maintaining accurate lease files.Move-In/Move-Out Coordination: Manage resident transitions by scheduling move-ins and move-outs, conducting unit inspections, and ensuring readiness of units.Invoice & Budget Support: Submit and track invoices, assist in monitoring budget adherence, and help maintain accurate financial records.Vendor & Work Order Coordination: Communicate with vendors, process service requests, and track work order completion to support timely property maintenance.Leadership Coverage: Act as the on-site lead in the absence of the Community Property Manager, ensuring continued operations and consistent service delivery.Compliance & Documentation: Maintain accurate resident files and ledgers in compliance with Fair Housing laws and lease requirements, ensuring confidentiality and integrity.Leads and promotes healthy and safe work practices as required by regulatory agencies and Company policy.Performs other duties as assigned.EDUCATION | EXPERIENCE High school diploma or equivalent required; additional coursework or training in leasing, business administration, or property management preferred.2-5 years of experience in property management, leasing, or administrative support in a residential setting.CAM (Certified Apartment Manager) or CALP (Certified Apartment Leasing Professional) designation is a plus.Fair Housing and TAA Lease training are standard and expected.Eligible to work in the United States.KNOWLEDGE | SKILLS | COMPETENCIES Working knowledge of property operations, leasing practices, and Fair Housing regulations.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and property management systems such as Yardi or similar platforms.Strong organizational and administrative skills with attention to detail and accuracy.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a customer-service orientation.Ability to resolve resident concerns tactfully and maintain professionalism under pressure.Confidence in assuming leadership responsibilities when needed.WORK ENVIRONMENT Work is conducted in both a controlled office environment and outdoor settings.Requires effective communication and a professional demeanor in all interactions.Frequent use of computers and standard office equipment.Fast-paced atmosphere with the need to manage multiple tasks and priorities.Adherence to all company and property safety protocols.Regular, full-time, predictable onsite attendance is an essential function of the role.Professional attire or branded company gear must be worn during work hours.PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Regular navigation of the property during various weather conditions for tours, inspections, and events.Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods.Occasional lifting or carrying of up to 50 pounds for packages, office supplies, leasing materials, or event equipment.Visual ability to inspect apartment units and common areas for cleanliness, safety, and readiness.Zekelman Industries offers competitive compensation and excellent benefits, including low-cost, high-quality medical and dental benefits.
