Lockheed Martin is looking for a highly motivated project manager to support and deploy Digital Transformation efforts across the portfolio of programs, sites, and lifecycle. Working on a fast-paced team, you will have the opportunity to work closely with multiple and diverse, functional areas across FBM. You will perform all levels of project management philosophies and responsibilities throughout the entire life cycle of each project. In this role, you will offer the following daily key responsibilities: managing risk and opportunity up through all boards, metrics management and evaluation, developing program review documentation, performing integration activities across the organization and program, supporting the leadership business rhythms, and supporting the proposal and budget cycles. Although this position does support some teleworking; the preferred candidate will be located near our Lockheed Martin Space facility in either Denver, CO, or Cape Canaveral SFS, FL, and be expected to work in the office as needed. Basic qualifications: To be effective, you will need to possess these basic qualifications: a bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline, 5+ years overall experience, to include at least 2 years of project management experience, you will need to be a US citizen, and be able to obtain and maintain a US DoD SECRET clearance, to support this government contract, as well as successfully pass a drug and background check, in order to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Please note: no clearance is required to apply, nor prior to start. Desired skills: To be effective, ideally, you should also have: experience with Digital Twin, experience with AI, Project Management Professional (PMP), Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt Certification, or equivalent experience. Demonstrated ability to influence and execute on planned initiatives. Experience in program development with emphasis on cross-functional collaboration and leadership. Ability to effectively communicate at all levels of the organization, including to non-technical personnel. Ability to operate in a dynamic environment and take on numerous roles as part of the daily program operations. Ability to work autonomously in dynamic and fast-paced environments. Experience in facilitation, with the ability to engage and motivate a variety of stakeholders. Demonstrated exceptional strategic communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas in a clear and concise manner. You bring positivity and enthusiasm to every project you touch. In addition to the work, you love being part of a team and working collaboratively through the process. Familiarity with software, database migration, and general Information Technology architecture. Familiarity with Manufacturing Execution Systems and related processes. Familiarity with or the ability to learn: Outlook, MS Teams, Confluence, Jira, Tableau, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
