Junior and Senior Legal Assistants
for our client, a well-established law firm based in
Roseland, NJ.
The firm specializes in various practice areas including public finance, land use, litigation, and more. Salary for the position ranges from $55,000 to $80,000 per year depending on experience.
The Legal Assistant will support a team of attorneys across multiple practice areas, including litigation, land use, redevelopment, and affordable housing. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, motivated, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities of the Legal Assistant position
Calendaring Scanning documents and doing mailings General administrative activities Coordinating attorney calendars, scheduling meetings and calls Processing time entries for attorneys and submitting expense reports Maintaining and organizing client files in NetDocs or similar document management systems Answering phones in a professional and timely manner Supporting attorneys in various legal tasks across multiple practice areas Requirements for the Legal Assistant position
1+ years of experience supporting attorneys. 3+ years for the more senior role. Experience in redevelopment & land use is a plus for the senior position Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe, NetDocs, iTimeKeep or similar time-entry software Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to work effectively in a team environment High attention to detail and ability to proofread documents Why This Is A Great Opportunity
