Indefinite Contract We are looking for a
Revenue Accountant
to join our team in downtown Houston! This contract role offers a hybrid schedule and covered parking. You will be responsible for ensuring accurate revenue recording, regulatory reporting, and monthly/quarterly reporting for our oil and gas operations. Key Responsibilities: Revenue Oversight:
Manage and record non-operated revenue for TEEP SW Texas, ensuring that the Operator's Revenue statements are accurately recorded based on the company's share. Monthly Payment Requests:
Oversee timely and accurate requests for payments, including ORRI payments, severance taxes, royalties, ONRR billings, and other related items. Monthly Reporting:
Ensure accurate production volumes, pricing, tax reporting, and expenses for monthly revenue accruals and reporting. This includes tracking oil stock variations, transportation expenses, and marketing fees. Regulatory Reporting:
Process and monitor state and federal royalty and production filings, ensuring compliance with all required regulations. Data Management:
Submit data in a timely and accurate manner for internal systems like Galaxy and ensure adherence to group revenue accounting guidelines. Quarterly Reporting:
Ensure all quarterly reporting for the group is accurate and timely. Account Reconciliation:
Complete monthly reconciliations for the revenue accounting team and support additional internal requests as needed. Requirements: Experience:
Minimum of 7 years in accounting/finance, with specific experience in the
Shale Oil and Gas
industry in
Texas or Oklahoma . Specialized Knowledge:
Experience with
royalty interests
and
hydrocarbon/NGL
accounting is essential. Education:
A
BBA in Accounting
or equivalent experience is required. Technical Skills:
Proficiency in
SAP ,
OGSYS , and
Advanced Excel
is needed. Seniority level
